  • The Genuine Ladbrooke Essentials 5-pc soil blocking set provides the starting blocks of the Ladbrooke "nesting system" of soil blocking tools. This Essentials set includes: Ladbrooke Mini 4, Micro 20, Cubic Inserts, 7/8" Seed Pins, and Grow Tweezer. The Mini 4 comes with a set of four 3/8" seed pins, which must be inserted. The Ladbrooke 5-Pc “Essentials” is our most popular set and provides the starting blocks of the well-known "nesting system" of soil blocking tools.
  • Note: The Micro 20 has a new stronger, smoother design. Ladbrooke proudly displays its logo on the handle of the Mini 4 and Micro 20!
  • Soil blocking is a perfect way to start seeds; they promote healthy root growth and eliminate root bounding that occurs in plastic pots. Easy to use and a great gift for gardeners.
  • Soil blockers are easy to use and offer an excellent growing medium for young starts. Potting soil is compressed wet into the soil block mold and then discharged into a tray with the ejection handle. Soil blockers create a "pot-less" pot, and can be used for all seeds, and are great to use for cuttings as well. With soil blocks, roots are air-pruned, helping reduce transplant shock, stunting, and slow-growth after transplanting.
