  • This pincushion flower is named Burgundy Beau, but you can pick the color: wine red, rich plum, or houw about burnished burgundy. No matter the name, these fully double, domed 2 inch flowers attact bees with its nectar rich flowers appearing all summer.
  • Like other atropurpurea varieties, this 2 foot tall beauty is multi-branching and floriferous. Each dome is comprised of dozens of tiny petals, adding texture to the flowers. Deadheading prolongs blooming. Also attracts butterflies.
  • Plant in sun to light shade in fertile, well-drained soil. Goes deciduous but returns in the spring.
  • Sow 3 - 4 seeds per plant and space 12 - 18 inches apart for best results.
